About Daso

Bio

Daso Franke, known professionally as Daso, was born in 1981, in Pune, India. He grew up in Hannover and later moved to Cologne for his design studies, where he became involved in the local music scene. His breakthrough came with releases on the Sublabel MBF of Traum Records. In 2005, Daso's popularity as a DJ began to rise, leading to performances at notable venues such as Tresor, Maria am Ostbahnhof, and Arenaclub in Berlin, as well as Romy S in Stuttgart and Tanzhaus West in Frankfurt. He collaborated with artists like Pawas and Juli Holz. Daso Franke passed away on April 2, 2018, in Berlin due to cancer.
