Midnight City are a Liverpool, UK-based, platinum-selling DJ/Producer duo formed by longtime friends Jonathan Hayes and Joshua Jones.
With roots in house music dating back to the early 2000s, they officially formed Midnight City in 2013. While best known for their disco house sound, their productions often blend elements of French house, tech house and jackin' house.
They've released music on labels including Blackjack Records, FFRR, Glasgow Underground (Kevin McKay), Good For You Records (Kenny Summit), Henry Street Music, Jackies Music, Monoside (Angelo Ferreri), Nervous Records, Simma Black (Low Steppa) and Spacedisco Records (Hatiras), as well as their own label, "All Night Long Records", which has overseen releases from Johnick, Omson, Folkness, No-e, Chapter & Verse, Mark Whites and many more.
Aside from their solo productions, the duo have collaborated with the likes of JohNick, Endor, Sammy Deuce, Folkness, Dilby, NERVO and Kim English and remixed for such house music forces as Becky Hill, Marshall Jefferson, Mood II Swing, Crush Club, Supermini, Sam Dexter and Lizzie Curious.
