Bio

Japanese producer and DJ Yuu Udagawa draws on her background in art and philosophy to craft immersive sonic experiences that fuse energy and calm. A passionate user of analog synthesizers such as the Minimoog Voyager and Prophet ’08, she merges analog warmth with digital precision. Drawing inspiration from a cocktail of Deep House, Nu-Jazz, Detroit, Electronica, Krautrock, and Leftfield Minimal House, her music forms a genre-fluid dialogue between rhythm and emotion — capturing serenity and pulse through a calm intensity inspired by Aristotle’s golden mean. She has released music on Compost Records (DE), Cyphone Recordings (UK), Razor-N-Tape (US), and Cosmocities (FR),among others.
