Biografia

Dmitry Ushakov, known by his stage name Mancodex (pronounced /ˈmænˌkoʊdˌɛks/), is a sound producer and DJ. Hailing from South Ural, Mancodex has quickly established himself as a rising talent in the bass-heavy, quirky US house scene, led by figures like Claude VonStroke and the Dirtybird label. His music, characterized by deep grooves and powerful rhythms, has resonated with audiences worldwide, proving the universal appeal of a strong groove. Mancodex has garnered support from some of the biggest names in the scene and has released tracks on several prominent labels, including Box of Cats, Hotboi, In/Rotation (Insomniac), This Ain’t Bristol, Retail and Dirtybird, which marked a pivotal moment in his career. The Mancodex sound is a cohesive blend of groove and drive, where modern and classic elements are carefully balanced to create the perfect vibe—something he considers the most crucial aspect of his music. In 2019, Mancodex released a collaboration with Kyle Watson titled "Bass Level," a powerful tech house track that received widespread support. Following this, he remixed "Hater - Mancodex Remix" for Proxy, a legend of electronic music scene.
